Wow! That's a long time without updating the site, shame on me. I do have a good reason though, as I was stuck in Tesco's this whole time. You know what its like, you go in for bread and can never find the exit again. Of course I could have just asked someone but I didn't want to look foolish.
Well I better get around to actually posting some proper news on the band then. Since my last update they have played a couple of gigs, with both being very fun and entertaining indeed. Thanks to all the support the band has been getting by the way, it's most appreciative. Since setting up the Myspace.com profile we have seemed to gather a larger and let's just say more interesting following...which is nice.
I'm not sure of anymore gigs at the moment, I will have to look at my SPAP (Space Peacock Appearance Predictor) to see if there are anymore coming up. Once I have found some conclusive evidence I will let you know.
I'm interested to know how many people actually bother to come on this site now and read this news, so as a test I will give a chocolate bar to every person who posts a message on the forum in reference to this test or "Census" if you will. So get posting if you want you're free chocolate bar. Also don't tell anyone else as the more people that post means smaller chocolate bars.
So for now my friends, good bye.
Thanks to everyone who came to the gig on Friday, the support was great. There's allot of thing happening for us at the moment and so keep checking the site for news, as we can guarantee that there will be some interesting and exciting things happening. We have a whole host of gigs in the pipeline and once we can confirm them all we'll be putting them up on the site.
The Space Peacocks will be playing a gig on the 9th of December at the Command House in Medway supporting The Long Weekend. New Desktops have been added to the downloads page.
As you will have notice the website has been modified...again!!! Although as with every other modification the basic structure is still the same. The one thing that you may not have noticed yet is the brand new page dedicated to Press and Reviews the band gets, have a look at it here -> Press/Reviews. It's also on the pages menu to the left.
I have added a large number of new photos to the gallery from a few previous sightings. Yet more evidence of the fantastic phenomena known as "Space Peacocks".
You May well also notice that there is a new possible sighting coming up on the peaclock.
So for now my friends fair well and pray for our heroes safety.
Yes! That's right my fellow Peacockians the Space Peacock recordings I've spent months trying to decode are finally done and are available for you to download. Click this link to download songs. SONGS
As you will have noticed the site has been given a "face lift" or in other words it's been updated, there's not really too much dissimilar to the last layout so you shouldn't have trouble finding anything. So hopefully you'll find this new look more pleasing to the eye than the last.
You can now apply to be on our mailing list by simply typing your email address into the text box in the area on the home page where it says mailing list.
There's a new desktop for you to download. The Possible sightings has been updated although it is at a private party so people who wish to go may not be able to unless they know the person who's party it is but rest assured that if you do miss that then there'll plenty more chances for you to see the band in the coming months.
There are more new photos of the Space Peacocks to be found on the Photos page.
As you will have noticed I have come across some information on a new possible sighting that you will see on the right of the page.
I have also finished decoding the sound recordings I was working on and they are now available for you to download. Visit the Download page for more.
The Peacocks have a new skin basher, its former lead guitarist Felix Fingers. If that wasn't shocking enough they have a new six stinger in the form of the infamous Ginger Bitch.
Anyway I'm currently working on some sound recordings I've taken during my encounters with the Peacocks (this is why I may not be able to update the sightings list anytime soon although they will probably turn up somewhere) and hopefully I Should've got them up to a standard in which we actually make out what these noises they emit are and/or mean, you can expect some things that anyone whom has sighted the Peacocks will be familiar with and some no-one alive has ever heard before (besides me). Now these may not be the best quality but stick with me for I do not have the best equipment.
That said I have procured some time with state of the art sound apparatus in late April so I can then get some of the older emissions up to full quality. Ladies and Gentlemen we are living on the dawn of something big.
It is my duty to inform you that the Space Peacocks have parted company with sticks-man Lee 'Tweek the Wonderkid' Day. Great times were had together and he'll be sorely missed but really he just can't spare the time from his pre-existing projects, however he will stay on in an advisory/managerial capacity.
This means kids we have an exciting opportunity, if you can beat the skins and have ever wanted to be a Space Peacock now is your chance. If your Interested post a message on our forum or e-mail us, we have some time booked for the Fluer-de-ler pub in Gillingham on Friday if you can make it down to show us what you can do that would be helpful, give us a buzz first mind.
Also to chat about last Fridays Gig visit our forum.
I have once again made slight alterations to the site style, but like last time I have not changed the site structure. As you will have noticed there is now a new site banner crafted by my associate and good friend Professor Kieran Crighton.
I have added more photos from the Lordswood Sighting to the photo gallery.
And I have also come across a possible sighting for you, info to your right.
There are some updates to the site that I have made:
firstly you may well notice the slight change to the style of the site, but don't worry I haven't change the layout so you will still find everything in the same place.
I have added more photos to the Photo Gallery for you to inspect at your leisure.
Information has been added to the Peaclock about previous sightings, but I am still to add any info on future sightings.
I have added a desktop background to the downloads page for you to use.
You can now join are mailing list, for details on that please see the contact page.
Other minor alterations to the site have been made, so you may well wish to have a quick browse through the site to check that you are up to date on everything.
And finally, the forum has been up for a few days now and we are starting to get a good number of members, but we would still love more to join, so if you haven't already make sure you do, as some interesting conversation can be had on there.
Welcome to my new site, My name is Dr. Ludwig .R. Holt and I am the world's sole expert/believer in the phenomenon that is Space Peacocks. Have patience and take the time to read my site and I have a firm conviction that you to will come round to my point of view. Now I guess you are asking “but doctor, what is a Space Peacock” and to that my dear reader I will answer by pointing you towards the section to you left entitled ‘What Is A Space Peacock?' all the information you are after will be in there.
Now I'm still in the process of developing some of the recent evidence I've been gathering, I believe I have some photos for the gallery and possible recordings of the strange sounds they emit for you to download, but don't worry because I'll add them very shortly and as soon as we do I'll make sure you know.
I've just finished building it so you may encounter a few bugs with the site that still need fixing, so if you do find anything wrong with it please let us know about it so we can get straight onto it. You can contact us via email at spacepeacocks@hotmail.co.uk.
Don't forget to register with the forum to discuss these bizarre happenings with believers and non-believers alike.
